Guten tag!
Only bought this 80s beast about a month back but for various reasons (mainly because my BBS rims won't fit!!) have decided to sell it and go for another W123.
Its done 74k with history to prove. MOT till september and taxed till July. In lovely all round condition and has obviously been well looked after in the past.
Bodywork is very tidy overall and polishes up really nice - obviously has a few small blemishes and chips dotted around but nothing major and very little rust..
Engine is nice and smooth and runs great - lovely to drive with no knocks or rattles. Steering is nice and tight and handles great with the lowered suspension whilst still giving quite a smooth ride - not a bone rattler like some lowered chariots.
Has a nice Zender bodykit fitted, not sure if its a replica AMG kit made by zender as the front spoiler has the AMG logo on it.
Either way it looks great and has been fitted well.
A previous owner has also fitted the 2.3-16 cosworth badges on the boot!
The interior is properly deluxe - the seats are MB tex which is similar to leather but seems to be a bit more hardwearing and doesn't age as badly as leather which tends to fade and wrinkle.
They are immaculate apart from a couple of nicks on the drivers bolster which could be retrimmed for about £50.
Carpets, dash, headlining etc are all mint. All switches in the front work and all power windows and sunroof mechanisms are strong.
The rear switches for the windows don't work and centre console dials/switches don't light up.
There is a CD player fitted and some decent speakers which sound great.
Central locking and electric aerial worked great up until last weekend when they stopped working - haven't had time to look in to the problem yet.
The wheels are 15x6 I think and are from a more modern S-class -tyres are 205/50/15 with loads of tread.
Some service history and old bills included.
Insurance is cheap as chips - I paid only £150 fully comp on a classic policy!
Taxed and Tested - ready to waft..
May be up for a swap with a van/camper van/bus/truck!
Cheers, Rob.
