It is a silver 1995 W124 320E with a hughes of beaconsfield twin turbo conversion, very rare car. 16x8 8 holes, Full leather inc electric memory drivers seat, Air Con Cruise control Lowered all round with springs and shock - not sure what make. Full Turbo Technics Stainless Steel exhaust system including stainless downpipes, made by Scorpian for TT. All 4 windows work, as does the climate control and the electric seats. Sunroof doesn't work, the cable has come un attached on the roof bit, so that should be an easy fix. Motor and cable work fine Bodywork isn't pristine, could do with a few bits if you want it mint, but the car is sound and mainly not rotten. There is something wrong with the engine, I believe it is lacking in oil pressure, and there is a water leak from one of the turbo cooling pipes. The turbo conversion is fine. No mot or tax obviously as it has been laid up. Would be a great project to get back on the road. 340bhp if I remember correctly? Or to be used for parts for another merc. £1500, and the car is in Surrey.

Any risk of it being broken for parts? You can probably guess what my next question would be..?

Any idea what turbos they are? Could you take / put up pics of the other side of the engine please, I'm interested to see what the inlet manifold looks like

I live in Beaconsfield and my local Merc dealer is Hughes. I know the parts dept man there and can assist with getting parts, just PM me.

Inlet manifold is just a standard 320 item. Turbos are T2's spec'd and modified for the engine by turbo technics.
Technics, when was the last time you asked them about bits? I think you'll find me and a friend went and cleared them out of the last few kits and literally all the spares they had! Would have been rude not to at what he was asking for then in the end. So there should be a spare water pipe that this car needs replacing.

I haven't enquired about bits for your car but I regularly pop in to buy bits for my W123. Also, I am currently in the process of buying a new car for my wife. Amongst others, the new E-Class Estate is (was) on our shopping list and we went to Hughes for a test drive, etc. I told the salesman about my preference for W123 and W124 cars and he was very quick to mention the Twin Turbo conversion!

Yeah was a great conversion, I had a mosselman which the turbos blew on, and a friend mentioned hughes still had some TT conversions still. When I rang them up they only had a few 300-24 kits left very cheap, and the guy there was very keen to get rid of them all and all the spares that they had lying about. What I meant by the above is if you were to go in there now and ask I don't think they have anything left.
So the water pipe needed for this car we should already have, just got to have a hunt about in the parts bin.
Shame we never got the turbo diesel 124's over here, what new cars are you thinking of? Save the money, buy another 123/4 and put a new engine in, best of both worlds!

what new cars are you thinking of? The new car is for my wife. She needs something suitable for work and for carting around our 19 month old son's stuff. We looked at an Audi Q5, Merc E-Class Estate and a BMW 5 series Touring. Despite the luxury branding, the Q5 was too jiggly. The Merc is a bit of an old man's car and my 28 year old wife would look as if she borrowed her dad's car whenever she drove it. We have now placed an order to buy a new BMW 520d Touring, which comes with an 8 speed automatic gearbox! We'll be taking delivery when the new reg comes out in September. Of the three it ticks all boxes and is an amazing car to drive.
