Time has come to sell the compact, just ought a rusty hilux to mess about with, going to miss this car as the lux is no where near as nice as this lol. I am the 4th Owner and have owned this car since March last year (longest I’ve owned a car for in 5 years), bought it from a friend who had owned since about 2007 and after enough nagging he sold it to me lol.
It’s a factory sport, it’s actually a ltd edition as the paint & interior trim are individual spec, the paint is Aegean blue, it looks dark blue most if the time but really pops in the sun. I have a full spec list of this car that I will ad to the advert later.
It’s in good condition for its age with no rust. It isn’t mint though, I have included pictures of all the little marks. The seats are mint, I recently swapped the driver’s seat cover & foam for a good passenger side cover as the original one had a small hole in it.
Good bit’s
- It has a FSH - fully stamped service book, a folder full of receipt’s. Just been looking through and it had £1000 spent on it in Jan last year! Every MOT since it's needed one (2001). Looking at it, must have had 3-4k spent on it while my mate had it. I will go through and add up all the recipts.
- Flew through the MOT just needing a set of front pads, which were replaced
- Had rear brakes & front wishbones replaced in Jan last year.
- It currently has a K&N filter & Serbring back box sounds nice, not to loud. Will include the original air box.
- 25mpg around town, 35mpg on a run.
- No rust
- JVC head unit with MP3 cd playback
Bad bit’s
- Small dent on nose cone and roof from my mate hitting a pheasant
- Couple of scuffs on front bumper
- Couple of scuffs on rear bumper
- Alarm fob needs a new battery, I actually found it under the seat after I bought it (mate thought he had lost it)
- One of the wing mirror covers is cracked
Don't really want to sell it but I have a Polo as a 2nd car atm and no room for a 3rd car so this needs to go to make room.
**May take a set of 17/18” 5x114.3 Super Advan’s in p/x as part payment.
