wow
I would swap the wheels, but I'm being picky, how can I complain about a 69 ghia with a 993 lump in the back?
thanks and don't worry about the other thread, it's good for us all to see what can happen.

yep, that does it for me! gorgoeus clean car, not hunting for scene points, i even like the modern wheels, they have been thought about and the offset it just right and the style really suits the car! and the engine, well, what can be said! just awesome! i like the subtle center brake light too!

Thewheels are arguably, I agree - but given the size of the brakes behind them I guess they'r just purposefull and as small as possible ;D

I'd change the wheels too, they are a little 'fussy' for the simple lines of a Ghia. Other than that [and the sunstrip] I wouldn't change a thing!

this car lives not far away from here, i once met the owner and seen the car in the flesh, it is almost a piece of art. Quality workmanship and a lot of money went in it .... the Karmann was my favourite classic car for a long time....

yeah, the sunstrip is the only thing that really lets it down, but hey, easy fix I'm thinking it was added for function on the track as its not in the "stationary shots" gear stick and steering wheel look a little bit out place but its not my whip and if thats what he likes far play

What a project! Love the car but hate, hate, hate the wheels. Too modern IMHO and I also absolutely detest wheels which have this sort of offset so the centres slope inwards to the rim of the wheel! Rant over, carry on as you were....

Seen that a while ago and seem to remember that its not just a porsche engine in a Karmann job. Lots of engineering work to get engine, gearbox and suspension in that Karmann, all nicely tied in by that cage.

Cracking effort. Emerson Fittipaldi raced a few Porsche engined KGs back in the day, too.
