I've got a bit of a thing for oddball estates (see my sig  ) but I do like this  Shame the boot hinges look like an afterthought ... and surely they could have found something better than a length of chainlink to use as a stop when the tailgate was down  |

Am liking the chain, although it needs to be longer to lay the gate down flat. Otherwise, one's champagne glass will slide orf.

An Astin Allegro estate? or is it just me.... Not just you at all. The rear side window is a very similar profile. I'll get shot down for this, but I wish the conversion was more like the Allegro. Those two rear side windows just don't work, far too fussy. Beautiful example nonetheless. |

When at aca last year, a bloke was loading two fat lab dogs into the back of a rolls royce shooting brake on a old r reg (78?), he said they made 6 of them and are worth a blinkin fortune. The best one ive seen and liked is the rover p6 one, looks right wierd but lovley aswell.
