Right, the Viva is out of tax this saturday and it's going on SORN all winter. I cant just leave it in the garage so can I see some 70s paintjobs and interiors etc for inspiration? All I can find are vans at the moment but you can see where i'm going. Undercar neons, side exhausts etc.

Thats the 6 wheeled pickup truck XJS used by 100+ to publicise its wheels I think it was the one before "Sonic"
actually Sonic was built for Wolfrace now i think about it, quite few of those cars in the pics up there are 80's rather than 70's

Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

Craig, just ask your Dad! ;D Either that or go visit Jo H and rummage through his collection of Custard Tarts from the 70s - or even his photo albums.

ZOMG! Thats awesome anymore info or pics?
The 6 wheeled XJ-S was called the Interstate six and was built at 100+'s wheel factory in Warley,West Bromwich by Graham Swan around 1978. It was built on a modified pre-production XJ-S shell, and was fitted with a 454 Chevrolet V8 engine. Graham Swan did all the work on it himself (including the paint).
Thanks that is sooooo cool! Feel like I need a big poster of it on my bedroom wall ;D

Mid '70's I used go to the custom cars shows in my Reliant van and always came back with ideas of how I wanted to customise it Of course I'd be wearing the obligatory flares and tank top. Best for me was Belle Vue as not too far away so less chance of the Relaint breaking down. Wished I'd take pics as I reckon I'd be extremely embarassed about the cars I used to drool over with their buckets of filler to get smooth lines, various paint effects, jacked up rears, chrome, fur interior and such. whats the name of this style of wheel? I'm not sure what the 100+ version was called, I think mine are made by Western Wheel and the model is something like Cyclone or Hurricane. What they are NOT is Turbo Vec. Some annoying people tend to call any sort of turbine style wheel Turbovecs. Turbo Vecs have straight spokes with a kink, and only 13 of em. retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=50479
