Been away for a while but I'm back in a retro Ive got myself one of the first E30 Tourings Its a 325i manual and was a dealer demo so is well spec up, Full BMW history as well!! Me and my wife have now also got a pub its got a nice size car park, not huge but big enough! thought it might make a nice meeting place? we have a couple of bike clubs that meet once a month but no car clubs Its a quite village pub tucked out the way, 6 real ales, 4 draft largers, cheap basket meals (only £3.75, scampi, burger, chips etc etc) And we're the Landlord and Landlady no moaning about a few cars meeting up We are 'The Maypole Inn' in Yapton, near Arundel (BN18 0DP) Let me know if anyone would be intrested in a evening or weekend meet, Or just pop in and say 'hi' I'm Stuart and the wife is Kelly, Be nice to get some more car people up here!! Thanks Stu EDIT : Forgot to mention we also have a large indoor skittle alley which we hire out, normaly £50 for the hall and then either £8.50 a head for hot & cold buffet or £3.75 each for basket meals, but I'm sure I could do a deal on the hire of the room

I've been thinking for a while that a regular Sussex / South Coast meet would be good - was gonna start a thread but seeing as you've done that already.. ;D (& have got your own pub!)
Personally I reckon a weekday evening / early evening is better (cos free weekends are such a rarity) say the first Wednesday evening of each month or something like that?

Hello folks, Is there anywhere to stay the night down that way? I'm sure I'd pop down for a few if I could get my head down. I'm too old for sleeping in the car, oh, and the fact it's a Cinquecento makes it a bit difficult!

Indeed you might. Not seen Nick Barnet for years but I bump into Brad every now and again, he's good mates with the chap who is seeing my neighbour - you might know him too, tools about in a new white RS Focus.
So when do we know each other from and who are ya? I'm guessing it must be from hanging about in the layby that used to be outside Westergate School and round that estate if its through those two. I had a sign written astra van for a while.

Sounds good to me.
So who are you then - lets see if it rings a bell - I'm notoriously bad with names, slightly better with faces and cars.
