This: 1969 Saab 99 with a big turbo and Audi Quattro drive train. But look at it! I mean - just look at it! Would you ever think that car got 700+HP and does 9.8s on the quarter mile...!? Just from looking at it?   ;D F>%$§ me sideways, how awesome is this Saab!? ;D   At least not untill you had a look under the bonnet, though... I want to know how good this is on the road tbh. Drag cars kind of bore me, especially something like that, that could easily be a totally immense road/track car too!

Thats fablong! The whole sleeper style is one of my favourite things in the world. Going from "thats a clean one isnt it" to "what the...!?!?!" Priceless. Especially with a set of stats like like...

Drag cars kind of bore me, especially something like that, that could easily be a totally immense road/track car too! with that power curve and 500 bhp coming in in less than 1200 rpm track car would be a complete swine on a track - it's the same reason 600 bhp skylines at Marham go past me on the straight and then get in my way on the corners because they can't use any boost in the bends or they are just off into the scenery  One with 300 bhp was much more forgiving and quicker overall round the track |

I've got the copy of Swedish magazine Street and Strip that this car is in. If I could read Swedish I'd tell you more about it.. but I can't. However I did use the feature to find the Savarturbo forum a couple of years ago and have since been raiding it for cool cars and interesting links  |
