	I received a phone call this morning from a friend with some horrible news. I'm hoping this post is going to help a little but also will be good to let you all know. Si, or HongKongPhooey was sadly killed last night in a car accident. We believe it involved a lorry and was instant. His fiancee is in a lot of shock but wasn't involved. For those who don't recognise this user name, Si restored probably one of the iconic Celica TA22's in the country and was a great inspiration to all. He introduced me to the 70's J cars and is pretty much the reason I have a partly restored Galant GTO on my driveway. His recent projects included a Gen 1 RX-7, brown MA61 Supra, the Toyota Corona MkII which I'm sure you will have seen got a new heart (an 18rg), Datsun estate that was getting an S12 lump and he's just finished the little Lancia spider for his fiancee. I'm sure you'll join me in having a little silence. I'm very shocked at the minute and hoping this little thread will help. Thanks guys!

	That's terrible news. I didn't know him but through his posts and threads you could tell he was a sound guy. My thoughts go out to his family.

	OMG !! That is terrible news. I didn't know him personally, but felt a strange affinity as he was from Hinckley IIRC which is where I used to live and will be there later to pick up my kids ! Sincere condolences to his nearest and dearest
