This is awork in progress, I picked up the hood for £10 and the paints came to about £5. Between the 1st and 3rd pics I had a go at some designs using masking tape, but they looked wrong. I've never used proper grafitti spray before, it's totally different from car paint, you get real close with the nozzle and quick up down strokes. Its very hard work, dribbles, finger cramp, and big thick messy lines. It's made me appreciate grafitti even more. So I gave up on that and I've now sprayed the center part baby blue and outer white. Will update soon as its quite different now...have started at it with a big thick black marker, looks good. Pics to follow.       |

That's exceptionally cool. Are you gonna do the whole car like that or just the bonnet? It'd be cool if the art carried on along the bottom half of the doors. Have you heard of Keith Haring? Similar sort of style   |

I'm glad you like it.
I was origionally just a test piece, never really intend it to go on the car, although now I might slap it on for bugjam or the likes in the summer?
I am going to try to fill the remaining areas up, I get writers block. Want to mirror the octopus and its arm with something similar but contrasting like a robot with tenticles but we'll see.
I am familiar with or at least have seen work like that before yes.

have you seen that (i think it was) skyline that started liek this with a scuff cover up, then went on to do the whole car..
looked great, there was a thread on here, but I'm blowed if i can find it now..
I think the general veiw was it looked better with section tho, rather than the entire car
be good to see something cool again.. remind me of my rusted flower bonnet.. carry on!!

Edit: It's your rusty bonnet with flowers!!!(Flower stickers/let rust/ then peeled off?) Read that thread an age ago, well done looked great. yeah that was mine, sold it not long after and seen it a few times on different cars now too.. Cheers.. |
