Hi all, I was recently chatting to a guy I know who owns a classic car garage and he revealed to me that tucked away in his garages' store loft he has a HUGE amount of genuine NOS repair panels for a host of old cars. They are mostly opel/ vauxhall (but not exclusively) as his premises used to be a Vaux dealership back in the day. The panels range from boots, bonnets, nose sections, inner wings, rear 3/4's basically all sorts of stuff, this place really is a gold mine!!
cars-wise I saw stuff for all manner of varian of opel kadets, mantas, mk2 cavs, and a bunch of others that I've now forgotten...
He said he was looking for a way to get rid of them all so I mentioned to him that I'd put posts on a few forums I frequent, like RR! I think the easiest way to do this would be if your serious about wanting some panels let me know what car you have and I'll see what he has for your car, and how much he wants for them. You'll need to be specific though, don't want any unsatisfied customers! even if it's not a opel/vaux motor it's worth a try. I know I'm being a little vague but it's deliberate and with good reason A) I don't want to be chasing my tail for guys who are 'dead keen' but never cough up (I'm not accusing anyone of anything but we've all dealt with a few of those in the past I'm sure), and B) I don't want my contact to be deluged by calls from those guys and have the same problem! He's a decent chap.
So anyone interested? I'll be checking out his Mk1 cav stock myself!
James
