Here are my very unusual retro Amil alloys .
Bought for my MK1 Polo project but no longer needed as i'm selling the car.
They are 4 X 100, 13" diameter and 5" wide. The offset is 36 (polo breadvan freindly).
I started to refurb one. I painted it purple gloss (which I couldnt get a good finish) It was then rubbed down and sprayed satin black, needs more coats as you can see the purple in places. I also tryed polishing one section on another, just to see how it came up.
All but the partly refurbed one have some curbing, but nothing serious and all are straight and true. First 2 stripped completely, 3rd nearly done, 4th about half done. All centre caps, but one has a clip broken (pictured) but still stays on ok.
These are Very rare wheels. Refurb them and you will have something different to the norm for next years show season. They were originally off a Renault 5 GT Turbo (the one without flared arches) and will fit VW's and other 4 x 100 cars. Spigot rings may be required. Pics below.
Price: £85 collected from Worcester, WR5.
