Car in question is a Mk2 1985 Polo 'breadvan'. I can deliver to RR Meadowhall meets, but not further afield than that due to work time restraints, but I can hold parts indefinitely.
Items of note, all prices ono:
- 5 Skoda Felicia 4x100 steel wheels and centre caps with rubbish tyres £5 each
- 2 good condition doors, no door cards. £10 each
- 1 reasonable tailgate, has dent. £5
- 1 bonnet, has holes drilled for bonnet mascot, otherwise solid £10
- Two front wings, holes drilled for mirrors, otherwise solid - £10 each
- Black leather gear gaiter £5
- Full 60/40 suspension kit in good order £50 (originally cost me £130)
The car has had new brakes fitted which still have reasonable life left in them as they've only done about 3,000 miles.
Engine is the 1043 unit and may yeild some useful spares, but has done 118k so it quite tired.
If there's anything else you want or need, let me know and I'll tell you if I've got it left on this car.
This decision has come with a rare head-over-heart moment where something has to give and the Polo is it. I'm keeping many of the smaller items that I can swap onto another Polo at another date on the off chance I one day get the opportunity to do it all again.
I shall be sorry to see him go, but needs must, and it must go soon hence the very low prices on everything.
