I want to see these wearing 185/35/17s on a rough, chrome bumper MGB with about 2" of tuck front and rear. Good luck with sale

Hi Alex,
I'd forgotten all about this ad and was even toying with the idea of offering the wheels up to my most recent 4x100 motor!
I've sent you a PM & email anyway because I don't think my motor will do them justice.
Regards,
Bruce.

Very VAG looking wheels. Wonder if they'd suit my Sierra.

Haha and straight back up for sale. Believe it or not, I've just had a text from the new buyer to say that I had sent him the wrong set of wheels. "the wheels u sent are different from the wheels you had on the forum. The ones u sent are 4x100 4x108 for four stud cars, the ones on the forum are 5x100 5x112 so have you sent the wrong set?"Now if the photos were of some 5stud wheels and the description was of 5x100/5x112 spec I could understand, but I think it clearly states in the title & description....backed up by the photos that these are indeed 4x100/4x108 wheels. I am only posting this on here so that anyone wondering why they are up for sale again and get suspicious or if you are told by the current seller that they were mis-sold by me then I am simply covering my back. I even confirmed with the buyer over the phone the exact spec of the wheel and also asked him to double check that these were correct for his car. I even went as far as getting his Mum to write the spec down and confirm it with the buyer so that everyone was 100% sure that this was correct. To the buyer of the wheels, please check my advert, title, description and photos very carefully and let me know if at any point I have mis-sold these wheels? Regards, Bruce.

Mods, please feel free to delete my post above if you feel it oversteps any rules but I only posted in defence of any potential fallout from the buyer who seems to think that the wheels were advertised as 5stud somehow? I did everything possible to ensure that the buyer knew the spec of these wheels. Anyone who knows me personally will know that I would never, ever deliberately mis-sell or mis-describe anything. Just covering my back. I feel bad if they are the wrong wheels for the buyers car, but feel I played my part as fairly and openly as possible in giving the correct info for the wheels I was selling

[devilsadvocate] simply an elaborate double bluff to justify sticking them back up for sale immediately with a 100 quid price hike.............? [/devilsadvocate]
