james.. hope u are enjoying the car as much as mike did. he is missing it already but then his coupe is coming along quite well now.. it looks like you are getting on top of a few areas that needed some minor fettleing to make this an excellent car!! its good to see pics of it keep them coming pls and i think revo's or allycats would be perfect for it!! but the pics with the black wellers too are ace.... si

Cheers for all the comments guys, I really like the swage line in your photoshop Odin, and Mididans one with alley cats has convinced me that those are the wheels I need Yeah really enjoying the car Si More pics to follow when I have finished off the interior.

If I'd got my arze in gear and sold my Vx I might well have bought that. Nice to see its gone to a good home.
Rostyles always look the biz on these, make sure you get early Vauxhall ones not the later Vauxhall/Opel fit ones though.
I've seen them in 2 tone before and it looks wrong. the swage line is too far down the side of the car to break it there. I think mostpeople did it to cover up shody wheel arch repairs etc and gave it a quick lover half respray and used a different colouor to save the bother of having to match the original!
1st photoshop with the black wellers on looks the business and is what I would have done if it were mine
