hey µ got me a jetta 1 from 1980 today ;D it's a 1300 ad has 140.000 km on the block, real smooth ride ;D here some pics ;) from the audi and he's "new" stepbrother :cool:

gonna b german style, first, cleaning and polishing, then with the belly on the ground and on my 13" Polished pirelli rims,standing on a kit from v maxx that u can put lower and higher, don't know how it's in English ;D now it stands so high cause i got it today and is standing on the original steelies now greetz Ronald

Notice that`s a Jetta L, mine was a Jetta C, spartan beyond belief. What extra goodies does the L get you? An ashtray?
Nice car by the way, I sometimes think I`m going off VWs but never the Mk1 Jetta, always loved the shape and always will, especially the front end.

My last one was a 1981 'L' and it had more bits in it than my 1983 'C' I think the base models got more spartan as time went by!!!

cool jetta man. so if you're replacing the htns with the pirellis, what you doing with the htns? just out of interest.... here's mine by the way. jettas rock! it's a bit high off the ground for my ideal look, but it's also my daily drive and theres loads of speed ramps at work so i have to think a bit practical i'm afraid.
