Hello Me again, got my hands on another Mk1, Its only been about three weeks since the crash in my blue Mk1 FYA 385Y, not my fault and its all going through, just taking its time, so in the mean time, I stumbled across this one. 87,000 on the clock I think, no MOT, no Tax. Has original purchase receipt where he traded in his Mk1 Escort for a Fiesta, seems somewhat mad in these times. Managed to keep the price quite low... £100 delivered I should add. Its a Popular, so quite a bit more basic than the L model, so no rear windscreen heater, one mirror, no rear wiper. As for condition, its not the best back brake is siezed, not had time to look at it, otherwise its not in bad shape, needs a little bit of touching up, and she's a good'un Enjoy and see you all soon ! ! ! These really don't do it justice ! ! !

Looks sold in all the right places As lawsy said hot xflow on some carb and you'll have a proper little weapon, my mate had 1.6 xflow, cam'd, ported head, lightened flywheel and that went like fook! Slams it on some wide wheels too

I am indeed breaking to a certain extent, I'm still waiting on official stuff to say its mine for what I want to do. But if theres anything you want give me a shout Got a few more bits done, its got interior back in, cd player connected, horn now works, rear bumper removed, new lifts fitted on the boot, try to sort the window washer but instead broke the squirters by pushing a pin through the plastic

We're getting there now Fixed suspension issue, it was better but wasnt right, popped the spare and the passenger seat back in and it went back to perfect. Filled the small amount of rust on the valance and put it all back together Brakes seem to be working better now Ready for MOT soon, maybe this week, just depends on the pennies

Yup most certainly did, and will definately not be the last few updates: Boot carpet has now been changed, predominantly to make up for a deprived childhood Has now changed colour Before: After: Carpet: still requires a little bit of cutting its not quite right

Nice idea with the carpet! lol Two tone is looking good too! Keep the other one Green and beige and you got a nice pair! The other will be going back to beige but in time will end up green and beige once again, just want to get it back to original and see how good it is, its pretty mint but unsure if the paint is hiding anything

Is that a creasey dent in the OS door, or your reflection? I assume a reflection, afterall, why would you paint a dent...
I wholeheartedly approve of both colour choice and carpet. Good work ;D
