Hi, Just thought id pop up a few piccys of my 2 retro rides that have drained my time and pritty much all my money as of late!! First up this is my 82 mk1 golf 16v, was a 1300 but fitted a kr 1800 16v mk2 golf engine with a 1600 mk1 box', bike carbs, a custom upswept "bastuk" exhaust with no silencer (nice and loud) and a nice bit of chrome and polishing Has compomotive 15" split rims (8.5x15 and 10x15), shortened rear beam (-2"), full respray in vauxhall flamingo red with a gold roof, single chrome flag mirror... Interior consists of porsche tombstone leather electric seats, decked out rear, show cage, woodern steering wheel... Took me round 18 months to complete pritty much on my own (bit of help from some good mates) This is now for sale too so if your interested... Next up is a more recent aquired car my 82' e21 316, picked this up from N.Ireland late last year pritty much as you see it now apart from a recent rebuild of the bbs rs rims with new gold bolts... Have some plans for this but need to sell my golf to fund them Hope you like! Cheers Arron

That Beemer is all sorts of Epic, especially without the usual ribbed panel between the rear lights. Me thinks you have a talent for turning out nice cars Sir.

Another cracking e21. They seem to be getting more popular now after years of being unloved.

cheers guys, I brought the e21 from a vw site that I go on regulary I remember when I was young my mates dad had one in a sh1te gold colour, always liked it but never really saw one till the advert...had to have it! Few more piccys of the golf side on: The banded steelies that I had on it first then: The compomotives that were a right pig to get to fit and look right (mega stretch to get them under the arches and big rear camber!) This is for sale btw £5k

Golf looks great. If only they were RWD! I know some have had conversions but that's way out of my league.

I know we are retro guys but for me, carbs are the work of satan. mega stretch to get them under the arches and big rear camber! I'm not gone on the stretch thing at all, (I think it is my age) from a dynamics POV it just seems all wrong. But as you are low, and more importantly slow, I reckon you might live to tell the tale. Both of your cars look fantastic, but the E21 is particularly fine.

Both really nice, wheels on the Mk1 not to my taste, however that BMW is something special, amazing wheels and stance.

mk1 was built to my taste as I'm all about stance (tyres give that away ) but all to their own lol As for the carbs, easy as pie to tune, sent them off to a company called Bogg Brothers who re-jetted them and made a custom manifold and hey presto, amazing induction roar! Just gotta sort out the damn front wheels on the bmw as they keep letting air out between the tyre and the rim lip, 3rd time off to stop the damn leak lol Ahh well the joys of old motors (glad you all like the pair!) cheers
