My 74 Double Six has its original pipes but strangely the fittings differ on each side suggesting someone has cobbled together an alternative fixing at some point.
This has lead to a bit of studying of the Parts Lists and I'm tring to work out what I need and where you can get them and also if the Series 3 parts are same as Series 2.
The Series 1 cars used some of the same parts but the main difference was that the exhaust part has a metal bar on it instead of a loop....
passenger side of my car had this arrangment metal bracket is part no. C41559 (RHS) or C.41560 (LHS). rubber bush is C.32517 and the threaded rod and nuts are not original. probably metric as none of my spanners seemed to fit making removal in situ a bit difficult
this is the fitting from the driver's side. Bakelite bush is C.38330 or C.38336 or GEX7324 and the bolt and nuts probably not original as the rod should only be threaded at one and and part no is C41849 or CAC1109
There is a part on Ebay just now CAC3103 but its nearly £25 inc P&P.
