Model: Alfa Romeo 145 Cloverleaf
Year: 1998
Mileage: 140k
Tax: none
MOT: none
Location: Aberdeen
Price: £250
Additional Information:
This is the wife's car. We've had it for about 5 years and is our third 145 Cloverleaf. Late last year, it failed it's MOT on 3 things-
Welding required on passenger side floor
Rear brake pipe(s?)
Front lower wishbones (New ones supplied with car)
A set of exhaust rubbers required
She feels that, as she works within 5 mins of the house, she can't justify the insurance and road tax of a car like this. Also, she has to warm the car up to temp or take the long way home to avoid the mayo forming in the rocker cover (and I'm pi**ed off changing the oil every 2-3 months!)
Overall, the car's bodywork is in good nick with just some lacqer peelage on the strips above the rear side windows and a small ding in the passenger door where a mate backed his bike into it and his taillight hit it.
There are a couple of backlight bulbs out on the dash. The CD autochanger in the boot works fine. The interior is charcoal with Alfa logo seats in very good nick.
The wheels are 15" Teledials. Brakes and ABS works fine with no faults showing. It's the 150bhp Phase 1 alloy top engine which was replaced with an 89k mile engine by CP Autos in Dundee at around 120k miles. At the same time, a new clutch, radiator, belts and tensioners were fitted.
Right, the welding required? Two areas under the passenger seat which were clearly marked in yellow by the garage. It would take a couple of weekends work to do a tidy job for someone with the kit and skills.
It won't be broken for spares. Goes in one piece.
Any questions, just PM me.
Thanks for looking folks ;D
