Model: Nissan Stagea Year: 1996 Mileage: 85000 Tax: No MOT: February 2012 Location: Norfolk Price: 550 Additional Information: I'm putting my Stagea up for sale as I'm not using it enough at the moment to justify keeping it. It's a 2.5 non-turbo (RB25DE) so it's not as fast as the turbocharged Stageas, but with 190bhp it still goes quite well. It's been a useful and reliable old bus and did 720 miles in a weekend at the end of July (Norfolk to north Devon and back) without missing a beat. It's not the most economical of cars around town, but it'll do 30mpg on a run if driven reasonably sensibly. It's in good general condition for its age, drives well, all the electrics seem to work OK and the aircon is ice cold (not that it's been needed much this year). Speedo has been converted to MPH. Negative points: there is a bit of rust on the lower tailgate under the number plate and just below the driver's door mirror, although nothing too major, and the front grille could do with touching up; the stereo is still the original Japanese one so only picks up Radio 2, although the CD player works; and the ABS light is on - has been ever since I bought the car, I haven't bothered to investigate what the problem is as I don't particularly like ABS anyway, but this would need looking into before the next MoT. I'm after £550 for it. It's in the Norwich area, but I could potentially deliver it within a reasonable distance if need be. Here's a pic - more to follow soon.

Yep, it's automatic. It is 4 wheel drive - I think they did do a RWD version of the non-turbo Stagea though.

Few more pics: Interior Rust under the door mirror Rust on the tailgate Like I say, those two bits are the only two noticeable areas of rust on the body.

This one isn't quite as bad on fuel as a Turbo - it will manage 30mpg on a run if you're reasonably sensible, and probably more if you drive like a nun, but then if I were going to drive like a nun everywhere I would buy a Pixo rather than a Stagea. I'll have to check through the bills etc. but I seem to recall the cambelt was last done in 2008, along with a full service including new ATF etc., and it's not done a huge number of miles since then.

I bought a cheap car from Wuvvum a couple of years ago, and drove it at least 200 miles home, man up!
I'd vouch for Wuvvum being a great guy and the car will be described accurately and honestly. (I'm sure plently of other people can confirm this too.)

I'll vouch for Wuz. He's decent, reasonable & honest with his descrpitions -the car will be exactly as stated.
156 miles? Go get a life.
Most of us here would travel the length of the country -on Stagecoach or suchlike- to get the car we want.

Bump again, and thanks Nigel. Kent is probably a bit too far for me to deliver tbh, more due to time than anything else. 156 miles isn't that far in a car like this though - I went further than that for it when I bought it, and my trip to Devon was 360 miles each way.
