My ever faithfull former daily drive, will be a bit sorry to see this go but needs dictate this must as I'm up to my eyeballs in projects and as any landrover owner will know....these are everlasting projects!
Bought this 7mths ago in more or less as released condition except for conversion to 12v but since then I have done the following mods:
200TDi Disco engine fitted (recently fitted a new water pump)
Disco transfer box fitted(better ratio for road use)
5x 16inch Modular wheels with Colway 265/75R16 AT tyres
Cubby box between front seats
Highback Delux drivers seat(standard passenger)
Small striplamp fitted in the rear
Front diff guard fitted
Front section headlining fitted
Pair of s/h halogen headlamps fitted
Original speedo replaced so now shows MPH instead of KM(original included in sale)
Other work done:
New LH front brake caliper fitted along with new pads on both sides
New drop-arm balljoint fitted
Ciggy lighter fitted(more to power sat-nav than anything else)
And now for the bad bits:
Bulkhead will need top corners doing at some point as both sides have a hole
Both footwells need plating/replacing soon as both have holes(covered by floor mats)
Currently running without an intercooler fitted(and has done for 5mths)but to get the most from the motor it will need one fitting along with a 200-type radiator(currently using a V8 radiator with military oil cooler in front)
No engine fan currently fitted but might need one before summer comes(never had the gauge over half all winter!)
Needs the exhaust system finishing(currently running just front pipe+one silencer)not all that noisy as it stands but obviously not ideal
The glow plugs are not currently operational as I had attempted to fit the 200 timed-type setup but seem to have got a wire wrong somehow so have left the relay disconnected until I had a chance to sort it. Even without them working ive not had a single instance of non-starting even during the cold weather earlier in the year
Currently not fitted with its original Nato tow hitch but I still have it and will include with the truck
Availible at extra cost would be a set of 5 standard 16inch steel wheels fitted with 7.50R16 General Grabber AT tyres that were fitted when I bought the truck
And there is the sound system which consists of: JVC CD player(with aux input), 2x Vibe & 2x Kenwood 6x9's(both sets virtually new) along with 2x Pioneer 5inch speakers fitted into the cubby box. All this is availible at extra cost(speaker box will remain eitherway)
(CB Radio+antenna pictured are not included in the sale)
I've had this up on eblag twice and been messed around both times so am willing to accept swaps for anything old and RWD(with tax and MOT) as long as I see a bit of cash my way
