Hi it a Tdi, so actually cruises at 90 happily, without drinking juice!
got full MFA (trip comuter) which works properly, mpg, temp, clock, and a few others I havnt noticed!
More pics to come later.
I havnt had this very long, since finishing uni realisation that I need to travel about 500m work not 75 miles every day, means this just gets to sit in the Garden while I tend to use my Rangy for distance and quad if it's local!
The cambelt was done 20k ago by the previous owner he was your archetypal retired 'lovely old boy' and the belt looks recent and the auxiliary belt is brand new, so I was happy to believe him, there is a squeak on startup from the aux belt but this always goes within 2 minutes, and as far as I can see is down to the tensior being a little soft, is silent after 2 mins and i've done tons of miles so i'm sure it's fine..
205k ish and was apperntly a Cat D in it's life once, all this means is that the bonnet wing and one light were replaced, it's tip top and you'd never know it ever had any damage....
Comes with spare (new) down pipe & silencer and a few bits and bobs nothing wrong with what's on there though

So its a GL then as well, lovely spec. Driven gently, these can get 65-70 MPG. Mine managed 50 MPG whist towing Wills MX5

Sorry yes it's a GL.... i have the ability to ruin any cars mpg and I still get 50mpg cruising at 85 so i can well believe 65mpg+ if you're gentle driver it's a great car just been out in it, drives really well, it has 6x9 Infinities in the front doors so good sounds as well, lovely seats with only one fag burn in the drivers..
MFA does oil temp and miles as well as the thing i mentioned earlier has two positions so great for mpg watching!
more pics tommorow, when i can get it out for photos!

I love Jags, but unless it's MOT'd and ready to go 'm not in the position to do anything with one, got a business to run and projects coming out of my ears, plus a few 'fixer uppers' as well...
