When the lad who had it before me bought it, it had covered just under 24,000 miles, it now had 27.000.
The interior is all standard, bar an anti theft device on the gearstick and a decent CD player, an it's just been treated to a full wet-vac valet, courtesy of Simon Shipley of Fine Shine Valeting (07835410432; highly reccomended)
The Wheels are 15" BBS from a Golf Cabby, they come with 2 almost new Goodyear 195/50 tyres on the front, and 2 very good Maxxis 195/55 tyres on the back (i wanted to put 13's on, but bigger, beefier brakes from a 2.0 Astra GTE mean the minimum wheel size I can fit are 15's, but that's upto you if you want to change them..)
Now then, the engine, this is where it gets interesting...
Nova GTE Bottom end, Nova GSI Head, 4-2-1 Manifold, v-sport custim exhaust, piper fast road cam and pulley, 8mm magnacore leads, roose blue hose kit, custom made washer bottle and header tank, 2.0 Astra GTE brakes, goodrich flexi's, spax rsx coilovers, custom mods to the airbox, and it's all connected to an F13CR gearbox...
It ran a 16 second quarter on stretch tyres, and it was overfuelling, but it hasn't been tried again since.
It's been known to bear a 2.0 redto stripped out Corsa running NOS, so this gives you some sort of idea on how quick it is for a 1600..
It's also a 1600 on the logbook, as it was all done propperly.
Outisde, it's again, pretty much standard, apart from the wheels, clear rear lights, clear indicators, and obviously the stance from the coilies. (Comes with spares, including a brand new headlight.)
There's 2 MINT doors (just needs painting, as they're red), boxes of bits (i will get pictures if anyone's interested), a petrol tank, etc..
The bodywork isn't perfect, but it is nowhere near 'grotty' or 'curse word' haha!
I'll get some more pictures when I get a chance to wash it (later today hoefully if the weather dries up a bit).
It isn't taxed, but it has 10(i think, i'll double check) month MOT.
