Could you machine them to work with lift up reverse gearshifts such as what's on the Volvo 340's? Would be interested in an 8ball one if so

lift up collar gearknobs are, unfortunatly, the work of satan himself, many 80's/90's vauxhalls have the same system and the short answer is no, sorry. I'll happily sell you an undrilled 8-ball to play about with though!

Does anyone know if a 97 passat has the same gearstick fitting as other VW's of the same age? Scrapyard havn't got a Passat in at the mo, and I have a pending order!
Also, the thread size and pitch for a humbre sceptre and VW bay window camper.....
