This Is a sweet baby blue Triumph 1500 and is in need of a bit of love. 1972 and tax exempt. I have done all the welding on the chassis rails and it just needs a small bit on the sills. Currently the subframe is not fastened in or steering reattached although I will try to get this done. Some spares included. interior is in excellent order, mostly original but benifiting from new carpets throughout. Bodily in good nick but some work to the front panel and front edges of wings will be needed to keep it up together. Drove fine to here with everything working as it should. Would be an easy job to sort for this years shows. I cannot afford to do anymore to this car at the moment so it has to be sold. Won't get my pennies back but would like around the £400 mark but offers taken due to its (and my ) current position just a bit of the welding

Oh no! I was loving your build thread on this, some lovely neat welding going on. Looks like a cracker, rare too. I hope you don't sell it! (I mean I hope you end up not needing to sell it).

I'd love to have this, it's a beauty. BUT, as per usual too far away, and i'm Brassic, suppose I could sell the kids into slavery, or for medical research, or something
Anyway good luck with the sale

might be interested how much would it take to get an mot on it? Then how to get it to coventry it wants the subframe bolting back in then it would tow or even drive but legally it would mean a trailer. MOT work is a bit of welding on drivers sill, poss new sill might be easier/better? Then just a wheel bearing and fettling and recommission work ? money wise very little, just a bit of time.

Realistically I would need that welding done as I have nowhere to do it at the moment and no welder. I would be quite happy with just enough done to pass as I could tidy up and do it properly at a later date otherwise whats the chance of getting it to Area 52 get it fixed up there and I could commute by train to do the work just a thought

Possibly could do welding, Area 52 is not mine so I can't answer that one but i wouldn't reckon it would be necessary as there would only be a bit of spanner work for MOT Also just found a brand new set of front discs and pads for it
