I need to replace my rear valance with something better. The current one is in need of some minor repairs anyway but the main reason is that since lowering the car, the stock valance looks too narrow, too shallow and tucks in too far for my taste.
I wondering if there's a suitable car I can pinch a better shaped rear valance from that's at least as wide as my rear arches, slightly deeper than the current valance and with less of a tuck under so that I can avoid continuing to catch mud and grot between the valance and spare wheel well. Trouble is, I've no idea what car might be suitable.
Ideally the replacement valance would also feature a number plate recess just to make things look nice and tidy, if not I'll pinch the one from my tailgate since that's likely to get smoothed when the rear valance is redone. I'm guessing using a valance from another car is going to be easier than fabricating a new valance from scratch.
So, in short, anyone know what car I could use a better shaped valance from on the back end of the Polo? This is a job I hope to do over the Summer.
