What good is the dawn that grows into day The sunset at night or living this way For I have the warmth of the sun, within me at night (Warmth of the sun, within me at night)
The love of my life she left me one day I cried when she said, "I don't feel the same way" Still I have the warmth of the sun, within me tonight (Warmth of the sun, within me tonight)
I'll dreams of her arms and though they're not real Just like she's still there the way that I feel My love like the warmth of the sun, it won't ever die (Warmth of the sun, it won't ever die)
Brian Wilson/Mike Love, 1964.One word. EPIC. Two years ago a dozen or so cars stood just about where we stood today, sheltered from a keening breeze, and I wondered if my 'Beach Party' idea really had legs. Today I stood there, surrounded by somewhere between 100 and 110 cars, and maybe twice that number of happy smiling faces, and thought to myself 'How the f**k did all THIS happen?' Thankyou to each and every one of you for showing up....events like these stand or fall on the quality of its participants, and you guys are TOP DRAWER. I said this last time, and it's still as relevant now.....but in a time where we're all facing hard times and uncertain futures, it really warms my heart that so many of you guys made the effort to show up at Brean today. So give yourselves a big, sloppy kiss. With tongues. Pics. Lots of them. ENJOY. And feel free to add your own to this thread. I'll say it again. EPIC. Thankyou. Brian

Gutted I had to miss this, especially after seeing these pictures; it looks like awesome fun and a really nice diverse selection there. Next time... In fact, when is next time? ;D
Cracking photos too, especially that last one.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Me & my little un Molly had a really good day down there today, it's nice to see some photos as i didn't even have time to get my camera out & take any due to the fact i was the head chef on my car-b-q & i was constantly cooking/making cups of tea pretty much all the time i was there which didn't bother me as it was a pleasure to keep all the other RR-er's fed & watered! What an amazing turnout of cars & people today & as said the biggest & best turnout to date at this ever growing event! Tim...

Well what can i say other than sorry for coming in a daily, however many many thanks to all involved to have my family with me and see my daughter having her first experience of sand (walking crawling and eating ;D). What better way to enjoy an autumnal sunday was at the first and will be attending as many as we can from now on.
Let's hope it stays sensible and we can keep this growing for families to come.
Brian THANKYOU.

Damn, I wish t'other half hadn't been working this weekend, otherwise we could have come along and tied it in with visiting family nearby. Some stunning cars in the photos. Seem to be several mk 1 Festies too? Is this one on here?

Real good stuff. I honestly think events like this are the heart and soul of this place. Shame I couldn't make this year but that's ok because I know there will be more
