It looks quite southern European (Spanish/Portugese) style with those arches. Quite like it from some angles and not from others.

Here's one thing I can't figure. All that work (and there's clearly been lots of it!) yet they haven't tried to correct the usual rear wheel/arch alignment issue that lowered VAG stuff suffers. See, I couldn't put up with that if it was mine. I'd have to sort it one way or another, especially when the rest of the car has such a high level of finish. I can understand most VAG owners with lowered cars leaving it as it'd mean a bunch of fabrication work to fix but if you're going all the way... then go all the way.
Other than that, whilst not my thing at all, I'd say it's a pretty tastefully done ride.

IIRC you can buy some form of spacer off the shelf for MkIV golfs to correct that

If it's on air (I assume it is on that ride height) you can't fix the rear wheel positon or when it's raised it'll be really far back in the arch.

Matt Yeah, but only if you retain the stock rear suspension design. With a FWD, it wouldn't be too much of a mission the create your own rear end that rids you of the problem entirely. |

great plates will solve it. space the rear beam backwards.
HOWEVER. when you spend all your time looking at lowered mk4's, they start to look strange if they've not got the rear wheels cocked forward ;D backwards i know but they just look strange with the wheel in the right place haha
