Well I thought I knew it all. Turns out I didn't. Until today. When Willys-Overland and Kaiser-Frazer came together to form Kaizer Jeep, they produced a little gem called the M715. This was an American military vehicle based on the Jeep Gladiator (which is like a pickup version of a Wagoneer). The US Government bought them to replace the Dodge M37, but sadly they only produced 33,000 (between 67 and 69). Apparently the OHC 6 bangers were not very reliable and they were replaced by the Dodge M880. ^ This was news to me. I knew of the Gladiator and the Wagoneer from my time in the US, but the M715 had escaped me. I guess whenever I saw one I presumed it was a modified Gladiator (still awesome). I hang my head in shame and as penance for my ignorance come bearing pictures of some. i'll start with some err, standard? ones: err hang on that can't be standard, those tyres are a bit big. Yeah I'm pretty sure that's modified And finally, the one that sparked my digging:

You seen the "real" Dodge Power Wagons? mm yeah, I presume you mean the older ones with the outboard headlights? They are cool. Dunno why I like the M715 so much more though. Although actually a mate of mine used to have a Wagoneer, that probably has something to do with it.

A mate of mine has just sold his M715, ridiculously cool truck. 5.8 diesel, runs perfectly, in almost mint unmolested condition, 10 months MOT and free road tax. £4000! And thankfully, unlike most LHD classic Jeeps, it wasn't bought by a collector in Belgium and will be staying in the UK ;D

Are those guys looking underneath for space to mount some more dampers? That is very cool, I can imagine that being a lot of fun. Have a Wagoneer powered by a Ferrari V12: (There was another "Jerrari" built with the front end of a Ferrari 365 but it's really not a thing of beauty...)

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.
