"This Jaguar powered XK twin OHC 6 cylinder special was built by Robert Quelch ( Deceased ) over a ten year period from Dec 1964 to 1974 .
He designed and made the whole car from the ground up.The wheels even the steering wheel where manufactured by him. The gull wing doors are hydraulic operated and required more time than any other part of the car to perfect.

"The car looks brutish from this angle . Visibility was a problem , the Jaguar XK engine being so high caused a high bonnet line . still a good looking car of the 1960,s period . The most difficult task was the hydralic system for the operation of the gullwing doors and windows which took about 700 hours to perfect ."
