I adore P6 Rovers!
Especially lovin' the wires on that one.
So are the better looking of these cars all relatively low milage?

Bigrod, I'm loving the wires too. A lot of people criticise wire wheels as thoughtless wheel choice for classics but my dad told me that the woman who owned it before him ordered the car from factory with these wheels so it would be easier for her to swap them on and off! As far as mileage goes, I'm not sure. They've both done 0 miles in the last ten years though!
Dolly, I regret that we're missing a P5 and they've often been in my ebay watchlist. My grandfather owned a fair few P5s as well, so they really are missing. Hopefully the P4 will be recommissioned, but the P6 is the main priority.
I have to agree, that P4 is total class!

Those wires are worth a good whack last time I looked! Some great pics, it must be amazing to live amongst them! Proper petrol head paradise  Good to see the Rovers getting sorted, they look like they've fared well! I'm having another P6 as a project when I get some space, a series 1 V8 is what i'd like. Awesome cars Yeah the rovers could of been worse, the chrome work looks awful at first glance but it seems like it will clean up very well. A P6 WILL be my next project, the tobacco coloured series 2 most likely. I'm tempted to get a cheap, more road fresh one off the bay (and the fact it's blocked in the shed by about 10 unmovable cars!). Series 1 V8 would be my dream... Drool  |

I forgot about this thread, It was one of my favorites!, Has much changed over the last 18 months Rob?.
I used to visit a farm like that in Pebmarsh i think it was years ago, Had old Granada's and Cortina's all over the yard.

If any of those P4's ever need a good home I'll be up with a trailer and some cash before you can say 'rusty heap', shame i got rid of my spare p5 or we could have done a swap so you could have the set!...
seriously though its a shame to see some of those cars slowly decaying, but at least they're mostly undercover so the good 'uns deteriorate slowly, the ones outside look mostly beyond hope but its fun to see the 'progress back to earth'

There's another 5 cars at least but they don't belong to me so I'd better not say. It's going to be an exciting year on the farm. I should finally have an E21 racer going on the road and my dad is going to get the 1927 Alvis road legal (I might post up a seperate story regarding this car), we might even get the Alvis TD21 up and running as well as the good P6 and P4 that were pictured together. Then again, pigs might fly  |
