Get a load of this, me hardies!!!! Masterwork-level craftsmanship, whether you like Cappers or not. This guy is flat amazing at tinwork.
I dub this "The 'Cuda Capri" henceforth, and it is rumored to be getting a shine for a photo spread this week. Look for it in print soon in a classic-oriented magazine to be named later.

That is a serious bit of metalwork, any still pics anywhere?

Mmmm, roof chop with the sunroof still in, awesome work. Did I see right in the vid, did he cut the screen down himself? If so, what do you use to cut a screen down?

I don't like it...Looks a bit too clumsy...Like a bar of soap.
Perhaps a little less girth at the front...

fair play to him, that was a lot of work. Being real picky here but can't help thinking that the wheels should be bigger as should wheelwells for better proportions? As I said, massive work and well done

Proportions; You've lost them. Nice bit of work though, impressive undertaking and executed beautifully to a showroom finish. Though not my kettle of biscuits at all. The front end looks Celica-ish and works really well. Firewall back though, not so much.

Think I know whats wrong with you all... stop imagining it as a baracuda, and take it for what it is... a chopped capri. He's done an excellent job. Roof chops can be murder to do, and I've never seen one done on a capri that looked 100%, this one is pretty close though.. If it was mine, I'd now be figuring how to section 6" out of the sides of the car to bring it back in proportion again ;D
I do love the way it makes the standard capa look more lika saab 900 in the pics tho, that made me chuckle..

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in
|

Just a few subtle changes would make a world of difference in the proportions.

i like that, think the wheels let it down.

For once, a custom car is under-wheeled Photochop with larger arches/wheels makes all the difference. Regardless, it's an awesome machine.

With a bocephus sticker on his 442, he'd light 'em up just for fun

Ahhh, the second evolution of Manny's car, I nest give him a ring and get it featured.
He's a hell of a workman, he does a lot of it simply by eye and trial and error. Quite the craftsman.

Nice work. Not enough dragon murals for my tastes LOL WTF? Its proper custom innit. You don't see much proper custom in there parts no more as its just too much hard work. No doubt if he'd poored paint stripper over it, attached a roof rack and piled a load of tat on it then it would be AWZUMS BEST KAR EVAH M8

How about some Manta A tail lamps to give it a real 'Cuda look?

I think that it is the retention of the Capri wage line which adds so much visual 'bulk'...
