A few months ago I heard about a car that might be for sale but as I was skint I didn't want to go round and waste the guys time until I was in a position to do something about it. But a couple of weeks ago I sold my Model T and I now have some cash burning a hole in my pocket and the likelihood of selling my Sapporo in the new year, So as off tomorrow morning I'll be putting a deposit down on a new (well to me ) ride, The question is, What is it? Pictures and reveal Monday PM BTW This could be RRs worst kept secret this year, yes that means you Seth Just to keep this interesting here's a pic of my now departed Model T

If what we were talking about was a Skyline then it's not that

Stu, I didn't even realise you had a T bucket. Never mind such a looker. I will be keeping an inquisitive eye on your f/s thread. Just for educational value, of-course D

Hmm! looks like not many of you are interested or is it because everybody already knows? So!, drum roll......... First shock is that it's not Japanese, second shock is that whilst I was round there today getting it started, I uncovered some more hidden gems that I'll share with you in in bit.... So first clue is that it's a four door and has a very funky red leather interior Hmm! bit of "coke bottle" going on with that door Also has a tasty wood dash and eight track player Anybody guessed it yet? Have a little bit of outside to help you out So it's not a mini then! If you haven't guessed it yet or plain don't know what it is let me enlighten you a bit. It's a 1967 Vauxhall Cresta Deluxe, 3.3l, four speed manual, One owner from new, 70,000 miles with a few period modifications such as Viscount heated rear screen, hazard lights!, electric washers!! Kenlow electric fan and luminition ignition. It's also literaly covered in waxol, seriously it's everywhere! I viewed it a couple of weeks ago and agreed to buy it as long as I could hear it running and check everything worked, well I went round today and it purrs lovely with only a slight leak from the water pump and a few brake pipes that are looking crusty, the rest of the car is remarkably sound which isn't supprising as it's always been garaged apart from two summers in the 90's when it had to make do with the driveway! But the best bit is that it's NEVER been welded! and doesn't look like it needs any either! The only bit that I can see that could be a bit thin is the leading edge of the drivers wing, To say I'm a happy camper is an understatment So who want's to see what else I found then?

want to see rest of lurking treasure.
Just needs a little altitude adjustment and run it as it is. Cragars or slots would work well. preserve the patina.
