don't know if we've had a dedicated Skogen Racing thread before... (Just checked, one in the last year.... no replies.... thats no good!) Basically, they are a group of nutters from the continent (possibly Sweden?) who strap insanely large turbos and aftermarket management to largely stock big old engines and have massive amounts of fun with them! First car that I really noticed of theirs was their sierra V6 turbo.... Note screamer pipe out of front wing! Video.... Lastest project seems to be this capri..... Claimed 400bhp and shedloads of torque (easily bored peeps skip to 0:50 ) They also have a sick Carlton 2.6 turbo used for competitive drifting www.garaget.org/video/avdgynvg1zyc(god that sounds sexual!) You may remember this car was in the video with that diesel drift merc too. Plus some old Rekords..... /\Turbocharged 2.2 CIH /\ Saab 2.3 engine in this one.... Carlton with HX50 Cortina Amazon! 535 Turbo Mk2 Escort! Website with Forum skogenracing.myftp.org/ (gonna try google translate on it in a bit!) Movie they did in 2008 400bhp 325 Turbo pinto Youtube account www.youtube.com/profile?user=Skogenracing&view=videosAnyways, have a rifle through and see if there is anything cool you like. I love it, but thats cos I'm a trampy, slidy, smokey car kinda guy! I think they are massively helped by the fact most probably run on E85 though

What an awesome bunch of loons! I am genuinely curious how long those engines last though, bet it's fun whilst they do though.

mad maxx..... didnt realise that was based on a 240 chassis! madness! tigran.... I think engine life is helped massively by the E85 as its much more resistant to det apparently. (Internet learnt!) sammm.... not sure maybe, search wont work now shame it didnt get any replies though! Must of just been unfortunate driftscim... you cant sort of get the idea behind the manifolds here But sometimes they seem to build them from scratch too HTH! These guys are the main reason I'm planning on turbocharging my senator
