Love these both high and low Once saved one after the drunken owner rolled it on the side off a hill then flipped it back over with all his mates only to find he had left the hand brake off . Me and a few pals tried first to act as an anchor but that didn't really work then it went sideways and my mate Matt jumped through the side window pulling and grabbed the handbrake saving mateys doris who was to drunk to have bothered getting out after it had rolled in the first place. Matt was offered a reward but declined as she had sharp looking rotten teeth Baja was saved though ;D

Good grief! If one more person paints the word HoodRide on a completely normal VW I'm going to scream. In my opinion, if it has the word HoodRide written on it, then it automatically isn't one.
Other than that, all of the pictured Bajas are very cool, and I'd definitely encourage you to follow your natural desire to own one!

Baja Bugs are simply AWESOME! I assume you've frequented the UK Baja Club??Very nice site with a lot of friendly & helpful people on there. The sale section regularly has links to Baja kits on eBay etc.... ( For exampleBuying a kit will save you a lot of chopping, plus you can make money back selling the original bumpers, bonnet, wings, engine lid etc.... If I didn't have the sand rail I'd certainly be wanting a Baja....I used to drool over the Ocean Pacific one that appeared in a lot of magazine. Wasn't anything fancy, but was prob my first into to Baja's as a teenager. Loved them ever since. Ex-mag feature car:
