After it's black, add more black. Make sure it's matt black as well, the gloss isn't a true murdering from what I understand.

Yeah no 'shiny bits', stance is optional, it just refers to black paint, dark window tint and black wheels.

You can have some shiny bits I reckon. Black paint, black wheels and tints are most important to me for the look. I've gone for a bit of that look on my Cedric.

had loads of old bangers matt blacked we even used to paint the rear and rear side windows with it, some cars with big backlights (like the mk5 cortinas) used to get the lights masked out so when you took the masking tape off only round bits shone through, it never used to have a name, we did it for a laugh usually, it makes your car bloody hard to see in a dark car park.

The car looks like this so paint is sorted. Any tips on tinting the headlights. The indicators and side repeaters were done by spraying them with a light coat of satin black but don't wanna ruin the headlight output too much. Has anybody tried that light tint film that has small holes in it to let the light through? Matt

Matt Hi Matt, I drive and am on the road for a living daily, in residential areas etc. Every now and then I see some guy with a 10 plus year old car, lights blacked out, front and rear.... and you can hardly see what they are indicating their next intention to be. I would say , no matter how cool it looks, it is not safe or clever. Fine for a show circuit, bit when you have a family in the car, or someone else cannot figure out where you are going to next.... Don't do it. Sorry to pee on your bonfire.

Matt how is the glass affixed to them? on mk3 polos you can remove the glass by heating it slowly in an oven, then the sealant melts... you pull the glass off and paint the bit thats white on the inside..( not the glass or the reflector) but just the plastic and it looks great... makes em look tinted but gives you great lights still..... either that or halfords sell that light tinting spray , but on cars ive seen its easily peppered with stone chips. EDIT pics shamelesly stolen borrowed from polo3

Gotta love it when a magazine paragraph opens with 'allegedly'. Rob Dyrdek's first blacked out truck played a role in his other TV series "Rob and Big" and he mainly referred to it as his UAV (Urban Assault Vehicle). The term Murdered Out started appearing later when he built his second truck, a pair of Ruckus scooters and the episode where Big Black buys and Murders Out a Pinto. Rob also owns a Camaro that isn't all the way black (the stripes are made up of his clothing line logo) I don't know that he invented the look or the name but I do know he consciously moved away from it. He switched to 'Stormtroopered Out' well before the 'White cars are the future' movement swept through the factories.

The indicators flash pretty brightly Grizz i'll try and get a pic. The headlight lenses are only clipped on and i've already painted the insides but they're not dark enough. This is the tint film with holes in I was on about www.flyeyeskit.co.uk/A couple of mates have it on their cars and it works really well. Matt

Stealth, you could try getting some headlight protectors and covering them with tint film like bikers do. Would give you the look and easy to remove if you get in bother with the fuzz.
