Tripple exclamation mark because of supreme need. Hi everyone, looking for pics of Hotrods (or any car actually) with the sharkmouth style body paint/graphics. Origonally seen on WW2 fighterbombers (I think) IDEALLY BEHIND FRONT WING ON THE FRONT DOOR. My Google-Fu skills have so far only come up with abject lameness (see below) Thenks everyone. ;D

'That' BMW ;D "that" BMW has win. Think in that perticular case, the sharkmouth spoils the effect though.

With the exeption of the Swastikas, I love it. What is that? A Starlet?

Yeah it's a Starlet. A lot of Japanese clubs seem to use the the 'Swastika'.

Yeah it's a Starlet. A lot of Japanese clubs seem to use the the 'Swastika'. True. In the case of that Stralet though, I think it's a simpler explanation - the doors carry a US moniker, suggesting that the swastikas and the bombs represent it's victims? A kill count.

Which is far, far cooler. Is it my imagination or is it a 5-door without a rear door?

Hmm cant be sure. The swastika in japanese culture predates the nazi swastika. You may find it on samaria banners of the time. I think in japan it is a symbol of good luck (I'm sure I read that somewhere). Also one of the reasons the japanese allied themselves with the germans in the second world war. They saw it as a good omen!
