WOW. What a turnout!! Somewhere between 50-60 cars braved the cold but very sunny weather for a few hours' worth of relaxation on Brean Sands. More pictures to come later, but for now have this taster... Thankyou to each and every one of you for making the effort to show up, chill out and empty the burger van (by 2pm they'd run out of virtually EVERYTHING). Mark Sunday March 27th in next year's diary, as that's the date for the Spring 2011 Beach Party. Like I said, more pics to come later when I've finished uploading/tweaking them. if anyone would like their own pics to this thread feel free. Brian

Was a lovely way to spend a couple hours on a Sunday. It was great to meet a few new people and catch up with some others Convoy coming down from A52 was lots of fun too, well worth the silly route from Bridgwater to the beach ;D

A few more from today. I really liked this. Owned by a young lad from Rat-Look.com who trekked all the way down from my neck of the woods. All it needs is some cream-painted steelies and it'd be good to go IMHO. Gorgeous subtle Caddy. I think this was the only time I saw it without half a dozen guys perched in the back. ;D Is it just me, or is photography really catching on amongst you guys? Quite a few people used the flat expanse of sand to take some artistic photos of their rides. I know Bruce spent a good couple of hours taking some fantastic-looking tracking shots, some of which you'll see later on.... .....and as for that lump of tree.....look where it ended up. ;D As you can see, there was much silliness going on. And major kudos to that guy for ripping his top off, for appearances can be deceptive. It was absolutely FREEZING. Almost Car Of The Day. Rat-Look shows absolutely no signs of running out of steam, despite their ability to polarise opinion in some quarters. I LOVED this. My Car Of The Day, and an RR Dedication Award, goes to our very own Grunty, who arrived at Brean at about 1pm having flown up from Bristol to Newcastle on Friday, got a train to the vendor's house, and then driven this an astonishing 565 miles including a few tat deliveries/collections on the way down, and then slept in it at the Ace Cafe in London last night before heading across the M4 this morning. I'm sure Alan won't mind me saying that by the hime he and John arrived they resembled a pair of frazzled serial killers. farm5.static.flickr.com/4130/5111283358_758fa39b05_b.jpg[/img]Apparently she didn't miss a beat, either. Now THAT'S dedication. ;D More later.

Long time Lurker, thought it was about time to sign up. I own the Corsa and I cant say cheers enough for the comment mate, has made my day and I'm glad you like it for a lump of 90's metal. Believe it or not, I'm 20, I just look about 16 haha! Anyway, was well worth the treck, second RR meeting I've been to now and loved them both, cheers for organising it all! P.s: I'm on the look out for cheap wide and dished wheels at the moment, those thin balooned bbs reps aren't doing it for me anymore

I am so gutted that i had to miss this, however moving into a house thats taken over 12 months work has been woth it today.
Looks like this little meet that Brian started is going to hopefully keep up steam in a good way.
Good to see the corsa owner on here, noticed you a few time's down by Sainsbury's in the big laybye, i run the hard slammed merc on the odd wheels.
