For Retro Rides Super car week (I hope we've not had this yet)
I guess the Alfa Montreal was Alfa's 8C of the 70's. I think it's 100% bad ass and I'd even never seen one until a couple of years ago when I spotted one for sale on carandclassic and couldn't stop going back to the advert to perv over it.

Conceived as a junior league supercar, the Montreal proved to be a commercial failure for Alfa Romeo. It originally appeared at Expo ‘67 in Montreal (hence the name) as a concept car, and proved so popular the company decided to turn it into a production reality. The small V8, based on the Type 33 race car engine, wasn’t really potent enough and although the performance was reasonable it did not match its price rivals. It remained in production throughout the worst of the 1970s, and today is viewed as a seriously desirable classic car.
