This is a rare one:- The Jankel Tempest by Robert Jankel - he of Panther fame. It's from 1990 and is based on a Corvette (obviously) and could do 0-60 in 3.3 seconds and over 200mph. Power was 535bhp and over 600 torques! The company make armoured vehicles now. A bit of a departure.

Would love to know his thoughts on the creation of such a mad vehicle. I remember reading about it, aged 11, in Performance Car magazine and being blown away by it.

TBH it was a job to get much out of him. We used to supply him product for his developements and he never particluarly eleaborated about anything that he was involved with. Never geave it the "big i am". I think his favourite was the Panther Solo
