Whilst cruising across France I thought that I'd love to be doing it in an Audi RS2 Avant, like this : Or better yet, this nicely modded one : Story here : www.eurotuner.com/featuredvehicles/eurp_1001_1995_audi_rs2_avant/index.htmlBut then I thought,.. hold on! What if Audi hadn't been the only one doing this? What if there were a Sierra Cosworth estate? Or a Lotus-Carlton estate?? Not super cars modified to be estate cars, but estate cars factory modified to be super cars. Has anyone done either of these already? What other suitably factory/co-op high power estate conversions can you think of? Or just post up more high power Audi estates!

I was going to look for a Cosworth Estate, but they are a bit 'common' for conversions.

I saw an RS2 Avant going to the tip the other day, its boot stuffed full of hedge trimmings. Sacrilege or sensible...?

I swear I saw one of these in Cardiff with an Alpina 2.7 (or maybe 2.8?) badge on the back : Not been able to find anything more about it, maybe they were just playing silly buggers with the badges.

They did a vr6 Passat estate and I'm pretty sure you could buy it it in povo spec but with the vr6 engine. A more modern Passat but W8's are serious sleepers.

My current daily (which it shames me to admit I love!) is a Mk4 Golf estate. I often think how cool a completely and Properly converted R32 estate would be probably a perfect car to me!

MG ZT-T V8's are mega awesome - my Dad's been looking for one for ages (to go with the MGC & TF-LE500 - he's an MG-whore) but they don't seem to come up for sale. He's bought a Rover 75 V6 now Even I'd roll that

they did the 75 version as well which i would really love, esp if you could do it up as a 1.8 special!

Yeah, saw your post after I'd written that - making a tit of myself as usual.. Can only see the one tho? (they hardly made any, so I think saying they don't come up for sale often was fair )
