My cheapo ebay purchace. totally skint so sold the polo and bought this old beast ;D so far ive done nothing but chucked a cd player in. and given it a hoover , wash and air freshner to get rid of the smell of old man. its a one owner from new car with 170,000 miles on but runs and drives soooooo smooth, and starts on the button ..... not sure on wheels yet tho. its gonna get the obligitory spring chop right after the mot. and I was thinkin 13 by 6j revolutions....... but I'm not sure 4 spokes will suit the look anyway ...pics Sorry all pics of santana lost... had to put this marina one somewhere tho lol ;D Dan

These are so boxy - the lads from one of the vw mags had a gold one slammed on cut springs and it looked super hard at RR07. Potential

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

wicked dude., yeah this was kinda spur of the moment itself. realised how skint i was sunday night and the fact i couldnt even buy myself a beer. so thought curse word it time for a change anyway so quickly chucked in a bid on this as it was in my watching. afterwards i realised that i didnt even read the description but it kills two birds with one stone (or three) money in my pocket, new car, and somthing to go to europe in thats big and smooth enough ;D well at least it is at the mo cos I'm dumping it on its ass

You live in Eastleigh and own a Santana. So, don't worry if you see a Porsche parked outside your house... It'll just be me stealing your ride.

Oooh, nice, I've not seen one of these before. What size motor would that be, then?
Looks very solid and stylish at the same time, in a way that only an old German car can.

With a bocephus sticker on his 442, he'd light 'em up just for fun

Nice! Welcome to the club, I have a GL5 [Audi 5 cylinder engine ] estate dropped it on standard struts & used mk2 golf upper spring caps and -60mm mk2 springs cable tied to the strut [just in case]. Looking for cheap 4x100 alloys now.... I pick my wife up from Uni in it [mature-ish student] and her 19yo mates all think it sooo eighties and ultimately cool, get a 'Save Ferris' sticker in the back & you'll have students begging to buy the beast off you! Check out www.ukpassats.co.uk & passat.de for information......
