started life as a 1.6 auto in brown was bought to reshell my ti which was beyond repair.it had one owner and 46k on the clock if only the old boy knew what I had in mind don't think he would of sold it to me ::) ::) ha ha
the only pictures I have are a few mid prep 4 years ago..

then it sat in the garage for a year or so not even opening the garage door on it .its so easy to lose your mojo with projects !!!!

then took the car to a friends unit for a few months to try to get the hard bits done

while doing the sunbeam also put together a mk1 golf for a bit of fun. I'm boring you with the sunbeam so may aswell put a few pictures of my golf aswell

anyway got the beam started again about 6 months ago
ill just put some pictures up of progress

desided to push the engine back abit to help with the clearence problems and chassis mounted it also.
then I bought a saphire cosworth alloy header tank and knotched the inner win as I was a bit tight for space .

then it was prep time

Very sexy! What are you going to use it for? Not rallying perchance?

just for the road and a bit at pod, maybe a few track days.should be quick and a bit of a handfull , but fun all the same ive got 1000 miles running it in to get used to it :o :o ;D ;D.got all my fueling stuff ready to go as soon as the weather picks up a bit,
alloy tank swirl pot ,044 pump and all the internal ptfe braided hoses. then next is to put my new quaiff axel on with the polly bushes and brace.and finally finish the cage and floor strengthing,
only body work bits to do is touch up a few knocks from storage and fit a carbon fibre bonnet.
cheers gaz

Now that is all kinds of awesome! I had a brown Chrysler Sunbeam for my first car and loved it. It ended up in grey and white primer patches in an urban camo stylee, a real shame I don't have any pictures...

Anyway, that looks hard as nails, good work :)
