Well here goes nothing, my first post please be gentle with me. I've had the Quattro for years now but its a victim of the "I'll get round to it" syndrome It was my daily driver for 5/6 years. It was put off the road and into storage around 5 years ago but after two years of "storage" which turned out to be a field Grrrr!!!!! It was looking a bit sorry for itself and as I had nowhere to put it and no money it had to stay outside for the following three years which did it no good at all. Well I've managed to scrape together enough money to have it sorted out but I live in a flat and have no access to a garage and I am useless with welders and paint I have had to send it down to these guys. I hadn't seen the underside of it for ages but I never imagined that I could put my fist through the sills and other places!! Its due to go under the knife this week so I'll keep updating as soon as I can. Happier times 2002 First inspection, it was tough to get it in the air because of the amount of rust!! Under side, looks way better in the picture. Where did that dent come from?!?

Well worth saving a original Quattro. They chaps/ladies at classic audi (Search google for classic audi) will help you with parts and advice. Good luck.

Great cars. It'll be well worth saving and worth all the penny's when you get it back and start using it again. This is one of these cars you could easily use as you daily.
How are they cost wise if you don't ask me asking? I'm just asking incase I loose the will to finish the bodywork on my e21.

I used to dream of owning one of these.
Years ago my BMW 2002 turbo replica was rear ended by a lorry and written off. I got a lump sum which was more money than I'd ever had to spend on a car. I bought a 3.0 Csi BMW which I picked up on a Saturday. The next day, on way to a car show, I pulled up behind a pearl white Quattro with wider, white alloys and black leather. It looked incredible!! I flashed the guy to ask if he knew where the show was?? Got chatting and turned out he'd just decided to sell for exactly the amount I had spent on an old nail of a 3.0 CSi. 15 years later and I'm still gutted!
Glad your restoring yours - it's looking like you won't regret it mate. Lovely.

I'll have to check that site out cheers. I went down to see the old girl today, not a huge amount of progress but its getting there, he did have some interesting stuff there including a Ferrari Dino owned by someone in a band called the Rezillos? A bit before my time I think. Yup, I was only 1 year old.

Awesome rebuild. Can't believe how much rust there is round the doors. thought Audis were supposed to be pretty good on rust protection. Can't actually remember the last time I even saw one on the road. (Actually that's not strictly true as I saw this one at Mallory Park at PPC in the park Was awesome (There's someone on here making one!)

Wicked car, really glad it's being given a second chance. Seems like it's in good hands.
