Well I have been looking at other members cars for quite a while now and have finally decided to share mine with you. I bought it around a year ago and have been slowly doing bits on it when I have the time/money I haven't got any decent pics of it atm but hopefully I will do soon but here are the ones that I do have, its the white one the other is my dads. well my friend its both in fact but don't get a great deal of time for the project side of things with still being at a boarding school and living in wales so a lack of tools and guidance means its just a first car at school if you get me.

I have found some more pics so here they are. the story so far; I did quite a bit of spraying and body work before these were taken but i don't have any earlier shots of it before the work and don't tend to take any when working on it because i don't think about it. the mirrors were ones that my dad had lying around and i always wanted to get my hands on them we bought sd1 alloys for the red car which ment these were available So I decided I would repaint the centres and fit them a quick adition of carefully selected dust caps and I was happy well what do you think?

wheel choice this all depends what I can prise out of my dads grasp as well as the wheels below and the ones on my car we have a set of minilights coming in september I shot blasted and primered the pinky red one and decided I liked the colour but may just have a pink rim and a body coloured cream centre

Very nice. My first car was a Mk1 Fiesta. You've done well.
I like the looks of the red car and its wheels....Thats looks nice, but I'm not sold on the spare on the boot lid.....
Keep us up to date with the Rover.

Keep us up to date with the Rover. the spare is on the boot as it has a lpg tank in the shape of a wheel in place of the spare wheel in the boot but to be honist its my least favorate bit.

I like the way you've filled all the bumper iron holes, looks really neat. Is there any reason for the v8 valance on your 2000, or is it because it looks cool If it was mine, I'd keep the rostyle wheels you've got fitted, and avoid the minilights, they look OK on small cars with small pcd's, but a p6 with a large pcd ruins the look of them.

well i got it off ebay cus it looked cool said it was good condition but when it arrived the corners of the ends were cut off and he had welded up the bumper iron holes so there was a little welding to do and a lot of filling but cant complain at a tenner. btw you said you were going to fit a series 1 grille but they don't fit on the valance properly with out modifying one or the other.

looks good. white with red interior is my fave colour combo for a 60s car. I prefer the P5B Rostyles to the SD1 alloys but either way a cool first car.
