Sven - because if the car is registered as 'silver' and the Police spot the car on the road, their computer looks up the reg 'plate, and says 'silver merc' and it;s matt black/grey, they might think it's got fake plates |

they still wont like it much. Main reason I used to get pulled. even though middle part of the car was totally white. Not hard to send the V5 off  And What UtterPiffle said skid cars need to be skidded |

how much you spent so far then mate. id like to build a drift car and what is your budget car £442 ..ebay, then sold the complete interior for £220.. £30 steering wheel inc postage and £5 for the horn push! £10 on pedals £20 number plates! about £50 on rattlecans!! 2 cases of bud to chops for the diff welding!!..again cheers mate! £20 for the rocker cover polishing! the wheels and brakes I had as spares for the 220, also the wings ,headlamp and front spoiler were free as I'm very friendly with a local merc breaker, I am about to fit the passenger seat from the 220 also to keep costs down even more. But it is also booked in later this week for what I can only say is a very special exhaust system!! which is gonna cost a bit but be very worth it!! oh yeah i have to spend out very soon on a fly off handbrake ,which i think is about £100 as c class mercs have the foot operated item ,which when drifting will be as much use as a chocalate tea pot!! ;D ps. any advice on which handbrake to buy will be much appreiciated if anyones got one out there!! |

get a hydraulic one, i don't know how Merc handbrakes work, but most of the Toyota handbrakes with discs in the rear are rubbish, so just use the normal calliper for that with a hydraulic one!
