It's getting there slowly but other cars and weekends away at shows have slowed progress lately I think all the other Viva owners are on here might be upset that I've dared to modify a GT lol Naaaa as long as the car is not curse word up and thrown away its all good. I only get upset with the ones who take a perfect car cut it up cause they know how to use an angle grinder, then give up because they ran out of ability (e.g. found they might need to use a spanner) then throw the car away. So far the work you have done could be reversed if needed. However I do see a lot of children with broken toys on this forum, and it saddens me when a good car is destroyed and no one says a thing? But then I know being negative is against the law.

Don't think I could have put that better myself. Nail on the head, all of it.
I've got this bookmarked Jim, I just don't come here too often or comment much.

I don't mind if people don't like what I do and I'm sure most people on here would agree that we all build cars the way we want not to be popular but that's enough of that as I wasn't complaining and don't want to start a debate lol.
As I said progress has been slower than expected largely due to my girlfriends HA SL90 which fingers crossed will be up for sale soon now it's had a new gearbox clutch cable engine swap master cylinder pads shoes front and screen rubbers and probably more that I've forgotten lol

Is it me and my computer playing up, or are the restoration and build pictures missing, I could do with a bit of inspiration for my HB Plans for mine include for the moment a Y20XE, I know its not going to set the world on fire, but I may upgrade to a 2.2. and a good XE head, I have the earlier ecu as well so I can run it as a stand alone system, unfortunately not tunable, that will have to be later, A 1800/2300 magnum axle would be handy------ anybody got one??
