Lovely job fella. I've got a big soft spot for Mini's and A Series engines. I built the only A series powered Smart Fortwo in 2007 with an MG 1275 lump. Awesome sound! Google 'smart1275gt'

Lovely looking car, not a fan of the oil cooler where it is though, but a gourgeous car none the less.

Looks awesome, really nice looking little mini. I reckon it'd look even better with the oil cooler painted black though. What width are the wheels, looking at the tyre fit I'd be guessing 5.5/6" Were they reversed cooper S wheels to start with or just the normal ones?

Google 'smart1275gt' Nice, engine would have been better in a mini though Nice oil cooler! 8.4 or 7.5" brakes? there actually the 'awful' 7 inch cooper ones but mine seem to work quite well, you just have to give the brake pedal a bit of force. I'm looking to buy a set of alloy caliper 7.5's but i haven't found a set that has been confirmed to fit under standard 10 inch steelies. Looks awesome, really nice looking little mini. I reckon it'd look even better with the oil cooler painted black though. What width are the wheels, looking at the tyre fit I'd be guessing 5.5/6" Were they reversed cooper S wheels to start with or just the normal ones? Yea i was going to paint it black when it starts getting tatty. Spot on with the wheel size fronts are about 5.5 and backs are roughly 6. They are the standard 10 inch steels. reverse rims stick out quite far as standard i believe.

There are some kart brakes that might be very interesting to look at, small brake discs (160-200mm), veted, 4 pots. Evervything is possible, you just have to fabricate a caliper bracket.

Winter mode. Exactly the same as summer mode. Fitted some new bumpers since last time, also done quite a bit work to the interior but i haven't taken pictures yet. my fav. Plans for the winter: Totally rust proof underneath with waxoyl removing any small rust patches Maybe a bit of welding out front/back if it needs it Get arch holes filled and painted Paint sills body colour (to give the illusion that its lower) fit 1.5 full roller rockers (currently only forged cooper s 1:5 rockers) fit new valve guide to head (bit smokey, wish I changed them when I built the motor) Matching passenger seat 7.5 4pot alloy brakes (need some to fit under wheels) Continue to make it lighter
