Hi All, I can't take control of my car's original thread as it used to belong to John (donttellhimpike) so here's my own thread which I'm going to log the car's history / progress in my ownership orginal thread here: retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=readersrides&action=display&thread=73253May I introduce "project white pudding" beautifully named by SWMBO, its a white pudding because "Its made from bits of white sh!t stuck together, and only you like it." As arrived from Nottingham: Slight interior change: And a pair of hellas: Thats it for now been enjoying using it, even been to work in it a few times because I can't resist walking past it to get to my daily! ;D I've wanted one for years. Any comments welcome, i'll try and keep this updated as often as I can

Nice car, but you know that yellow light cover is illegal, right? They can be yellow or blue or whatever, but it's gotta be the same on both sides. Just a warning, not many coppers would pull you for it, but some might.

Thanks guys The lotus rims are staying for now, could put some wide ones in but i'll be reluctant to cut the good metal underneath them. The wheels are 6x14 lotus eclat wheels with 205/60 firestones. Ha ha thanks Gav Bit of an update, been shopping ;D

as its been nearly five years.......... suppose its time for a bit of an update. don't worry that's not my work, i no longer own the car. I looked after it the best i could but didn't have enough time or the money to track prepare it i needed to build another car quickly and that took all my time and attention away from this one, so I moved it on before i let it slip into decline. John (hope you are resting well pal) will be proud that i made sure i found a good home for it. It now belongs to Midgely motorsport and is a full on group 2 historic rally car spec. I'm told it will be on the stages this year. this does not make me not want it back! just thought i'd give any toyota fans on here a quick update.
